Guides
There are two guides to the river with details of lock sites and additional information designed to be helpful to those more used to the canal system.

"The UANT guide" (by David Hutchings MBE) for the Upper Avon

"Gateway to the Avon" (compiled by Dudley Matthews MBE) for the Lower Avon

They are strongly recommended to those proposing to cruise the river and can be ordered from the shop

We hope you will enjoy the natural beauty of the river and find this website useful.
